Chris can't remember exactly when he started drawing, but has been fascinated with the idea of telling stories, and creating creatures and monsters of a fantastic bent from a very early age. Growing up as a faculty brat at Kents Hill School in rural Kents Hill Maine, his time was spent exploring back woods, making forts, and developing fantastical (though admittedly derivative at that point) fantasy worlds with his friends.

He attended the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 2006 with a BFA in Illustration. He has decided to remain and make his home, at least for the moment, in Providence, Rhode Island, but makes frequent trips to many exotic, (and many entirely fictional) locales. Perhaps if you ask him very nicely he’ll see what he can sneak back through customs for you.
