Purpose: This site was a space for me to post assignments and handouts. Parents would often email me asking for more information about an assignment, especially if they knew their students would be absent. I could quickly send them a link to the assignment page on my website which would include instructions, grading criteria, due dates, and a pdf of any worksheets or rubrics. I also linked directly to the Powerschool system we used for attendance and grades data in my district. By teaching students and their parents about how to use my website early on, I saved myself countless hours sending instructions by email.
